German-Danish Alpha1 Infoday
in Hamburg (May 30, 2009)
Ladies, Gentlemen and dear children
The motto of the Alpha1 Infoday in Hamburg is „Alphas Supporting Alphas“. In 1989 the first patients in Germany were treated once a week with Prolastin. Since then 20 years have passed and now almost 1000 patients receive this weekly augmentation therapy. This anniversary is reason enough for an exchange of experiences across our northern borders especially as for many years there has been a strong alpha1 organisation in Denmark.
The Alpha1 Infoday is a joint event organised by Alpha1 Germany, Alfa-1 Danmark and the European Alpha1 Foundation. The event is open to anyone who is affected by Alpha1-Antitrypsin Deficiency together with their families and supervising doctors.
The German and Danish speakers are specialists in AATD. Apart from their presentations the specialists from the various fields will be available to answer any questions that you may have.
Trained staff from the Mary Poppins agency will be on hand to take care of your little ones during the event.
General Assembly (May 29, 2009)
The Annual General Meeting is a closed event and can only be attended by members of the Alpha1 Germany association who have voting rights. Family members, members of Alpha-1 Danmark and Alpha1 Austria are warmly welcome to attend as guests. The event will be held in german.
